Wow! I just found another review posting of Lakmé from Missy Miller of KDHX radio station, St. Louis!

"Also noteworthy is Crystal Philippi, who plays Lakmé's servant, Mallika. Philippi does an excellent job of blending her rich, lower tones with the upper register of Johnson, particularly when performing Delibes' infamous 'Flower Duet,' as made popular by British Airways in the late 1980s." —Missy Miller

"...but it's her pairing with Crystal Philippi as Mallika, on the familiar "Flower Song" that really sparkles."

Offer to Play Carmen in ROME opera festival!

I just recently was very excited to find out that I was offered the role of Carmen to sing at a popular opera festival in Rome! Now I just need to do the fundraising necessary to pay for airfare and food while I'm there. I am so excited and hope I'll be able to make it there! :)
